We are so, so happy to announce that San Juan, PR’s Dandy and the Walkers are officially part of the Last Bummer Records gang!

Newcomers to the Puerto Rican indie scene, Dandy and the Walkers combine fresh-faced enthusiasm with retro charm. This interplay of new and old contributes to their unique appeal. Michelle (vocals/flute), Laira (vocals/guitar), Enrique (guitar), and Juanto (bass) joined forces in early 2012, bonding over a shared love of pizza and finely-crafted pop music. They quickly caused a splash in San Juan’s rock community. Drawing influences from the 60s girl-group and mod aesthetics, post-punk and dream-pop, with subject matter ranging from classic literature to tabloid smut, and with lyrics that will make you question your morals and tunes to rock your new shoes off to, Dandy and the Walkers have a little something—be it spicy or sweet—for everyone.

As promised, the video for the second single from Redness Moon has premiered. “Dance in the Shadows” was shot and directed by Dede Ene on location in Puerto Rico.

Anthem magazine premiered the video, and also did a short and sweet Q&A with the boys.

Hi friends!

We are so excited that the release of Fantasmes‘ debut LP, Redness Moon is only a few weeks away! You can go right ahead and pre-order your vinyl copy right here.

The album was designed by Eric Cumalander, using photographs by Mariola Rosario.

The first video, for the title track “Redness Moon,” was directed by Danilo Parra and produced by Project Fathom.

The record has already received some great write-ups and reviews, from the likes of RCRD LBL, The Deli, and Highwire Daze, amongst others.

We’ll be releasing another video very, very soon, and stay tuned for even more updates!
